That is right we had another pirate party at our house this time it was for Austin he is 2!! It is so crazy to me that i really have no babies because for the past 3 years that is all I had now i have 2 big boys! :( they grow up so fast!!! The party was fun we had all the cousins from both sides there and we had dinner , had a treasure hunt , opened presents and had cup cakes. it was so fun and deb made all the cute decorations for it she even made the table look like a pirate ship was so cute. I love this kid so much. he has started talking more and eating better he loves basketball puzzles and books he loves being outside and bugging gav. he is so funny and sneaky. I am going to have to watch out with this one! I LOVE HIM so much and I am so happy he got to come to our family.!

We took a little trip for our 5 year anniversary! it was a much needed trip we had so much fun and we got to go with our friends Lara and Tim and that made it way more fun we love them!

swimming lessons

We put the boys in swimming lessons in February and they are doing so good. Gav graduated from mom and tot and is in his own class and swimming under water. His teacher is so good she had him swimming within the first ten min of meeting him. and Bug just loves to go swimming any chance he get so there he is just jumping in the pool no big deal. he would do that all lesson if he could!

This kid just has the biggest heart. He just loves everyone and is just so sweet. He takes care of me and his little brother. He got so sad when we told him I was going to have knee surgery. He told me it was going to hurt me and he did not want me to, and that I would be sad and then he started to cry. We had to talk to him for a long time telling him I was going to be fine and it was going to help me. Oh how I love him so!

Oh the blood clot

I am so board; I was put on bed-rest yesterday because I had minor knee surgery on Friday. After 2 days of pain and an ER visit, I found out I got a blood clot in my calf. Now I just have to sit and wait until my blood levels get stable, then I can move and take care of my family. But I really cannot complain, Brian has been the best nurse ever. But today he had to go back to work :( Blood clots are no fun, I don't recommend getting one.

The past few moths we have been working out at ideal shape and I never thought Brian was big but then we came across this pic and well, let's just say that ideal shape works! He has lost about 20 lbs in 2 months. Loves good job babe!

We are in California for a little vacation and we went to Disneyland a few days. The first day we went, we had a lot of fun and at the end of the day we always stop for ice cream. Austin waited in the very long line with Brian and he was so good the entire time, then when he got his ice cream he burst into tears, started screaming, and would not stop and would not eat it. Finally I figured out that he wanted a sprinkle cone. So, we bought a little cup of sprinkles and put them on his cone and he was happy as a clam! I love that kid!

OK, so I lost my ring at the Corn Belly's a week and a half ago; tonight Brian, Austin, and I went out with a metal detector, to try one last time to find it but I thought it was hopeless. But I went anyway. So we retraced all my steps from that night and nothing. Then we went to where I was parked and out of the blue I see my ring on top of a rock, in the gravel, right where my car door would have been. Crazy!!!!!! It was like the big man upstairs led me to it because we had looked and looked so many times and not found it. Then tonight, BAM!, it was right there in gravel and I could see it! Oh boy was I so happy, I am still in shock! Prayers are answered!

Halloween

Last night we took the boys out trick or treating! They had so much fun! Gav loved being with all his cousins and Bug just loved running from door to door. And if you tried to hold his bag for him he would freak, thinking you were taking it away from him and would not let go of it for his life. Austin had more candy that night than he has had in his entire life. He was wired all night; he lied in his bed till 10:30 just singing to himself, it was so funny. Gavin is not a big fan of candy, I think he had 3 pieces all night!

On Thursday we had Emily ,Julie , deb and will all over to carve pumpkins. it was fun Gavin did not cry at the guts this year but he did not like touching them . Austin thought the pumpkins were for eating! and he did not mined putting his hand in them and cleaning them out. deb helped Gav make a pirate on his em made a cool skeleton pirate one for Austin and will and Julie made a happy face and Brian widdaled away for 3 hours making a Phoenix suns one yea that is right he would not help his kids he had to do his own! ha ha ha they all looked so cool at the end!

Ward party

This week we had our ward Halloween party. Brian and I were incharge of it. It went better then we thought. we had so much help from our commitee ,family and neighbors . thanks to everyone!! bri and I went as cowboys and gav was woody and we wanted Austin to be a horse but he was not liking the costume to much so then he was a bat . so glad it is over!

Our family came into town and we went and did all the fun halloween things at thanksgiving point. Gav learned what a mummy is and now he tells me all the time that he is going to " roll me up like a mommy" he is so cute. the day we went to corn belly's it was a sad day because i lost my wedding ring there! we have gone and looked for it so many times it is gone forever sad day!

We did our annual pumpkin patch at vineyard with our friends but we were missing some :( It was bugs first time and he loved the animal part of it. he is a farmer at heart .

BYU FOOTBALL

I got to take gav to his first BYU football game this year with my mom and dad while Brian stayed home with Austin. It was a lot of fun he feel asleep on the way there and he was acting way out of it. but he woke up and had a fun time we got a byu big boy cup and had a hot dog. and did our favorite cheer. he loves the byu cheer when he plays basketball he tells me to" cheer him up" and that means sing him the byu fight song. so when the played it at the game he was so happy to sing it with papa!

This story is one for the blog!
Today I had to make dinner for a family in my ward so I told Gav and Austin to go downstairs and play. They went down and were doing so good; no one was crying and I hadn’t heard from them for a while. Then Gav came up and I looked at him and he didn’t have his pants on. . .

I said: Where are your pants? Did you pee in them?
He said: No, they are just a little wet.
I said: Did you pee on the ground?
He said: No.
I said: Did you pee in the toilet?
He said: No, I peed on Austie.
I was like: No you didn’t; where did you pee?
He said: I just peed on Austie.
So I said: OK just go get your pants so I can look at them.

He brings them to me and they are not wet at all. So I just dropped the whole thing and went back to cooking because I just thought he went to the bathroom and was just trying to be funny. A little while later Austin came upstairs. The boys were playing and I was still cooking not paying attention to what they were doing then. . .

Gavin says: See mommy I PEED ON AUSTIE!

I go over to them and sure enough Austin had pee all over one side of his body! I’m as happy as can be I might add...Not. I was shocked Gav would really pee on Austin and then tell me about it like it was no big deal. I made him sit on a chair for a really long time and I tried to tell him, THAT IF HE EVER PEED ON ANYTHING BUT HIS POTTY AGAIN I would take his new kitchen that he just got for his birthday and throw it away, all the while trying not to laugh. He was so sorry. I just kept asking him how he thought it would be OK to pee on his brother. Oh boy, I learned my lesson, never leave them alone for too long!

Pirate party

Gav's birthday was last week and for months he wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese. So we planned on just doing that. However his little friend had a birthday party a month before and Gav went. After his friend’s party he told me that he wanted to take his friends to his birthday party. Well, I was not about to take a bunch of little kids to Chuck E Cheese; so I told him no and hoped he would forget about it. Then a few days before his birthday we found out his aunt Debbie from California wanted to come to the party, so we pushed the party back until the next Monday so she could make it. Now that the party was changed I needed to figure out what we were going to do on Gav’s birthday so it felt like his birthday. I thought I could just do a small little party with some of the kids in our neighborhood and play a few games, have a cupcake and that would be it easy without a lot of work. We decided to go to the party store to get a few little things and we see all the pirate stuff. Gav loves pirates, Arrrr! He loved all the pirate stuff and so did I. So needless to say, we ended up with a way bigger party then we thought or needed for a 3 year old! But he loved it.

We played pin the flag on the treasure, red rover, and Emily made up a little cute treasure hunt for them with little gift bags waiting for them at the end. Then we had cupcakes and opened presents. Gavin had so much fun with all of “his kids"; that is what he calls his friends. I am so happy I did this for him even if he is only 3 and won’t remember it. The party was totally worth the big hug he gave me afterwards and said, "That was so fun mommy thank you I love you so much"! Love that guy!

On Monday the 5Th we ran our 10k we as in EM ,steff , scott and i. it was a lot of fun it was our first race ever and we all finished. I did not win! I know i know it is very shocking i think i finished like 4999 place. i am just glad i finished it took me an hour and 6 min. I am so glad I got to do it with two of my favorite people Emily and Steff thanks guy it was so fun! Brian my dad and the boys come down later to see us finish.

We had an OK 4Th. It started of the first we had our big ward party that Brian and i were in charge of witch went well thanks to our family's that helped us so much. then of Saturday the 3rd we went hiking to Stewart falls. It was not the best idea we have ever had! we went with Brian's family. the kids were just to small but it was beautiful when we got there. but sadly on the way back we only had point 4 miles to go and papa slipped and fell! it sounded like a branch braking! I can still hear it Brian said are you OK and his dad said no i think i broke my leg at that point i took the kids and ran down the rest of the way to fined help because i didn't want Gavin to see a bone sticking out of his leg. (but it didn't). when i got to the bottom there was this family there and they were so nice to go help get him down the mountain. long story short he broke his leg in three places and had to have surgery. sad day he is doing much better now. but so after we got him to the hospital we went to my family's and had a BBQ and did fireworks that was fun Gavin loved the sparklers this was the first year he liked it! Austin liked them too. then on Monday i had my big run . so all and all it was a crazy weekend but it was nice to be with family!

Today Bug got tubes in his ears! Because he has had like 9 or 10 ear infections in the last year so i thought it was time to fix it! I know I am a bad mom to make him wait so long! but so we got there at 9:20 and he did not go back for the surgery until 10:45 mined you he had not eaten or drank anything sense the night before at like 7. Lets just say he had had it by the time we got to the hospital. I did ok with the hole thing until the nurse came to get him and he scram so hard and reached for me i started to cry and told Brian that that broke my heart. but i got it together and new he would be fine and then ten minutes later he was done. the surgery went well and we hope we have a pain free ears. as you can see from the pictures he hated the hole thing he really did not stop crying until we got in the car to come home. i thought for sure after when they brought him to me he would cuddle up to me and drink his cup! NO was i wrong he just wanted nothing to do with me he was so mad! happy day it is over!

The boys had so much fun this year.Easter morning we told Gav that the Easter bunny came and left him some candy and a gift so he ran down stairs and saw it and then the rest of the day he told every one that Santa brought him candy!(what a kid)!!!They got to have 2 egg hunts one at my Mom and Dad's and one at Eric and Beth's! they hand so much fun!!!! So we gave Austin his first ice cream cone! He loves them. Like when you try to take it away to pull off the paper you would think he was being shot! he cries harder then he ever has before. And like he just sits with it in his mouth and does not move it. by the time he is done with it his face is so red from being so cold. he is so cute just don't take his ice cream away!

Today is a Austin's birthday!! I just can't stand that my baby is 1, he grew up way to fast!

We had a little party with our familys it was fun and Austin got a lot of cool stuff!! And Gavin thinks he got some cool stuff too. He just did not get it that all the gifts were not for him! Also Austin is talking a little bit more. He says Hat, Mom, ball, and he trys to say Gavin oh and more. He loves to go up the stairs and play basketball just like his big brother! And he loves to climb on anything . This is so crazy for me because Gavin did not start climbing untill he was like 2 . It is scarry because Austin is still so small and not stirty. He gets up on stuff but then does not know how to get down. And he always has a bruse in the midal of his forhead! sad. We love this little guy so much he just makes us so happy!

We just got back from California last week. We went to Disneyland and the wild animal park and played with Will! It was nice to getaway but while we were there Eden got sick and was put in the hospital, so we did not get to see her or Brian's sister very much! It rained a lot, but it was sill fun and we are so grateful for Jared and Julie for letting us come out and stay a week.

We had such a good Christmas. It was so fun with Gav this year because he got the hole Santa thing! Any time someone asked his what he wanted for Christmas from Santa he would say a computer! What 2 year old wants that? But then one day we went to the store and he saw a bike and liked it so then he would say he wanted a computer and a bike. We HAD SO MUCH FUN THIS YEAR! Gav did get his computer and a bike. And Bug got a new car seat!

9 Months

My baby is 9 months. Oh my where did the time go? I know everyone says that there kids grow up so fast but really he is growing up sooooooooooo fast. This is just some of the stuff he does now.

1He crawls to the stairs and bounces trying to go up them. but he just does not know how to get his big legs up them!

2 He loves to smile with his moth open. (it is the biggest smile you have ever seen)

3 He loves his bath with his big brother

4 He has been sleeping 12 hours a night for 2 months except when he is sick

5 He just got a big boy car seat and he loves being able to see me when we drive

6 He loves his grandma more then me

7 He likes to watch whinne the pooh

8 He eats anything you put in his mouth sometimes it is a bad thing when he eats money!!!! But we hope he will be a better eater then Gavin

9 He loves my phone

10 He has 6 teeth with 2 more comming in

When Gavin gets sick and gets a cough he almost always has to do breathing treatments because he wheezes! And if you know him he is sick all the time! So he has been having to do the breathing treatments a lot. And we just got him a new mask to help him not be scared of it. It helps a little bit but he still hates to do it. When we say to Gavin we have to do your mask he runs away and screaming no mask!!!!! But this was a good day he just sat and watched a show! Sad for Gavin.

This morning I was getting Gavin breakfast and I finished and had not heard Austin so I went looking for him I did not see him anywhere and if you have been to my house you know there is not many places he could be on the main floor. I wanted Gavin to make a Candy house I thought it would be fun for him but I did not want to by the kits at the store. I thought we could just make it with gram crackers and homemade frosting and some candy. HOW HARD COULD IT BE? Boy am I not very smart!!!!we had it standing up for a wile and just as I was about to take the picture it all fell down. so instead we made a candy shack!!! It was fun and i think Gavin had fun too!

I got that pink smelly thing off my foot today. Happy day!!!!! It is so yucky. It is way dry and it feels like i have tape or something on my foot but I don't it is just a layer of dead skin. And lets talk about the hair on my leg! can you say man hair it really looks like Brian's leg because of how long it is. The pictures do not do it justice I wish you all could see and smell it in person! OH one more thing my leg is so small now like it really does not look like it should be on my body! but I am so happy to have it off!!!! now I have to were a brace for a few weeks and it is a good thing because my leg is sooooooooo week!

So I have only had this cast 2 weeks and I want it off so bad!!!!! But I still have 4 more weeks!!! I really want to itch my heel right now but I can't and I would also like to not have a lot of pain in my foot if I stand more then 2 min. this stinks but it could be worse!!!

This year it was fun because Gavin got the idea of trick -or -treating. we only went to my mom and dads and Brian's mom and dads and he thought that is all we did and he was fine with that but then when the cousins came he went and did a little more. He had so much fun! Oh and he picked what he wanted to be he loves zebras!!!! And Austin was a turtle because I thought it would be cute if he was crawling!

Circus

A few weeks ago the circus was in town and we thought it would be so fun for Gavin because he is so into elephants and tigers! So we got tickets and we were so excited to go and then the day before Gavin got the flu. And so the day of the circus we just did not no if Gavin would be up for going. but the time came to go and he was acting better so we went. He liked the Elephants and the tigers but everything else he could have cared less about. I think he would have had more fun if he was not sick but Brian and I thought it was fun!

Gavin had been checking on these apples since January with my Dad. We would get to my parents house and as soon as he saw my day he would say" papa Big Apples"and then they would go out side and look at all the trees. But now it has come to an end and papa has picked all the apples! Now he says " COWS DRINK" that means they go give the cows their water!

Disneyland part 2

We went to Disneyland 3 days and it was so much fun! the last 22 days were so hot!and the one night we stayed for the parade Brian and I went to get Gavin mickey ears and he stayed with papa to watch it and they chose Gavin to be in the parade! I was so sad I missed it! Gavin love it and wants to go back he asks he every day!

He is just getting so big he sits up by himself and he has 4 teeth and he gets on all fours and rocks back and forth trying to figure out how to move! he weighs 18 lb and he is 28 in long he is a big guy! he is just so sweet when he is not getting teeth! we all love him so much.

Disneyland part 1

Gavin had so much fun this time at Disneyland! He went on all the rides he could and he always asked if he could give Mickey a hug! It was so cute! Disneyland is so much more fun with kids!

So last night Austin slept all night he did not get up till 8 It would have been so nice except Gavin got up at 3 with a fever and stayed awake for ever!! I hope this is Austin's new sleeping pattern but I am not holding my breath!

Horsey Ride

This post is more of a journal post but still really funny! So I had Gavin and Austin in the living room on the floor just playing and I was in the kitchen and I heard Gavin say " horsey ride horsey ride" I did not think much of it and I finished what i was doing and was walking over to them and I heard a weird sound not a pained sound but just one i have never heard before. so i see Austin laying on his back with Gavin sitting on his face and neck jumping up and down!!! I yell Gavin get off!! freaking out then i remember hearing horsey ride horsey ride and put 2 and 2 together that Gavin was just getting a horsey ride on Austin's head! I then started laughing but kept trying not to because I was trying to get mad at Gavin! OH boy am I in for it with these 2!!!!!!!!( Austin was not harmed in this little ride)

FIRST TOOTH!

On Thursday Austin's first tooth finally broke through! It is on the bottom in front. Now we are just waiting for the one right next to it to come through and then maybe we will get are happy baby back! He is just getting so big He can almost sit up! And to day we advanced to apple sauce and at first he did not like it but by the end he was helping me put the spoon in his mouth! It is so fun he is starting to see things he wants and sometimes it is what Gavin has! Let the games begin!!!!!!!

So more of Gavin's birthday! ON his birthday my mom and I took him to Liberty Land and it was so cool because kids under 2 get in free and he could go on all the rides. So he went on a few but he loved the merry go round. we went on it so many times I got sick so I made my mom go on it with him the last three times. Then we went inside and he saw the basket ball game and that was the only thing he wanted to do after that. You hand to pay 25 cents each time and I only had 2 quarters so then I told him we would come back with daddy. ( bad idea this kid does not forget anything) So as soon as he woke up from his nap he said to me. "basket ball game daddy"!!!! I was hopping he would not remember but he did so we went back when Brian got home and he played that game over and over so many times! To say the least he left the place crying because he wanted to keep playing! It was A fun day. I can't believe he is 2!!!!!!

Zoo Day

We went to the zoo for the first time 2 week ago. We got in a little accident on are way up but Gavin was so excited to go that we still went up. It was fun. Gavin is way in to animals now his favorite is the zebra he got mad that he could not go in and play with them! Austin slept the hole time we where there.

So here are the stats on Austin he is 24 in long 90% 13.6 lb 80% and I can't remember his head size but it is in the 90%. This kid is soooooo big but so cute he is smiling like crazy and his favorite thing to do is sit in his swing and talk to you he loves to say gooooooooo! H e is such a happy little guy he only really cries when he wants to eat. He also just got his first hair cut happy day no more grose long hairs now it can all grow in evenly!

Ummm....Should we be worried about this?

So Brian Graduated in December but on Friday he had graduation. We all went to it I thought it was going to be really hard but I had all of my family and Brian's family there so it was ok. I am so proud of Brian and all that he has done!

Austin!!!

So this is Austin Price!!!! Yes it has taken me three weeks to post about him but I never have time to my self to sit at the computer now with 2 kids. So he was born on the 20th and he was 7 14 and 22 in yes very long baby! He came to us by way of c-section. He was not breathing very well so they took him and put him on oxygen for the first 6 hours of his life then they finally said he was doing better and they brought him to me and I got to hold him for the first time. But we are all good now. Gavin loves Austin he just wants him to do everything he does and always wants to hug him. He looks just like Brian!

Gavin's little surgery

So as most of you know Gavin has had this eye thing since he was born. His left eye doesn't drain and so it was always all goopy and watery. Well on Wednesday he had surgery on it! It was so sad to get him dressed in a little hospital gown but I didn't cry! I thought it was going to be really hard to hand him over to the nurse BUT they came in 15 min before they had to take him to surgery and gave him this medicine that made him sooooooooo out of it. like he was still awake but he couldn't keep his head up and he just had a big smile on his face. It was so funny that when the nurse came i was laughing to hard at him to be sad when he left. And the surgery only took like 2 min so he was back to be within 10 min. so I didn't really have time to be scared or sad! But it went good and the doc thinks he should not have any more problems with it! HAPPY DAY!!!!!
